Free show and opportunity submissions

We welcome authentic, publicly verifiable burlesque and cabaret shows, festivals, showcases, cast calls, auditions and community gatherings. Listings are an editorial resource for Chicago artists and audiences—not sponsored placements. We review every submission before deciding what to feature.

For show organizers

Please include a firm date, city, venue, official ticket or event link, the producer’s name and any accessibility or age notes. We don’t invent availability, sell tickets or represent the venue.

For casting calls

Give the deadline, artist disciplines, rehearsal expectations, compensation status, and a reliable official application link. Unclear pay or rights terms may prevent publication.

Please be accurate. Your submission must be authorized, and a listing isn’t guaranteed. Artist portraits, posters and stage images require rights or permission to publish. Updates and removals can be requested at any time.

Share the details.

It costs nothing to submit. We may follow up privately for a date, link, correction or image permission before publication.
